Tim Bafort

Graduating cum laude from Universiteit Ghent in 2016, Tim went on to pursue an LL.M. in American law at Boston University School of Law with a specialization in international business practices. He joined the Beyond team in the summer of 2017 as an associate.

Tim has acquired solid expertise in corporate law, particularly in its transactional aspect, i.e. fundraising and M&A transactions.

Over the years, Tim has proved himself to be a very thorough lawyer and an effective project manager, as evidenced by the confidence that the firm’s clients and colleagues place in his work. Tim’s analytical approach and problem-solving skills, combined with his determination and versatility, ensure a thorough analysis. Tim is a quick learner and has a highly agile mind, enabling him to provide clear, concise and relevant advice quickly, even in tense situations.

Perfectly trilingual, Tim adapts to and carefully advises each client he meets. His international approach and empathy enable him to understand the different issues and approaches of his diverse client base. These skills earned him the title of counsel at Beyond Law Firm in early 2023.
